Outside of my work, I’m all about music, good gatherings, traveling, nature, and trying things for the first time. Yoga keeps me grounded, and community keeps me inspired.

In my work, I bring a social justice and human rights lens to everything I do. That means creating affirming, supportive spaces for folx who are often overlooked or discriminated against, especially BIPOC, Queer+, and immigrant/ first gen families.

I offer therapy for adults in California, Nevada, and D.C. I work with organizations and therapists across the country through consulting, program design, supervision and training.

I’m Dr. Nicole Taylor, a Doctor of Marital and Family Therapy, somatic psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and mental health and organizational wellness consultant.

My work sits at the intersection of mental health, embodied healing, organizational care, and social justice. For over 15 years, I have supported individuals, communities, teams, and care-centered organizations in creating spaces for healing, reflection, connection, and sustainable change.

What makes my approach distinct is the way I bring together therapeutic depth, relational systems theory, embodied practice, organizational development, and program design. Together, these lenses translate into wellness experiences and organizational systems that are emotionally attuned, body-aware, culturally responsive, and thoughtfully structured in supporting people, teams, and communities in how they connect, communicate, care for one another, navigate complexity, and sustain meaningful existence.

My background includes:

-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services w/ an emphasis in nonprofit management
-
Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology w/ a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy
-
Doctorate degree in Marital & Family Therapy w/ an emphasis in organizational development & program design
-
Advanced training in somatic therapy, EMDR, emotionally focused therapy, trauma-informed care, decolonial therapy approaches, 300+ hours of yoga + yoga philosophy training w/ specialized focus in therapeutic yoga
-
Experience designing, developing, and managing programs and organizations rooted in care, community, and sustainability

I currently offer therapy, clinical supervision, consulting, trainings, retreats, and curated wellness experiences for individuals, therapists, teams, and organizations.

Across this work, I hold care, ethics, community, and accountability at the center; not as abstract values, but as practices that shape how healing spaces, programs, and cultures of care are designed, facilitated, and sustained.
